- Ordinary passport
- Diplomatic passport
- Service passport/Official duty passport
- An official identification card issued by Iceland to its citizen
- Travel Document for refugees (1951 Geneva convention)
- Alien’s travel document
- Seaman's book (on duty)
Citizens of the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland) can use an identity card as a travel document in Finland, but not for foreign nationals residing in the Nordic countries.
