The city of Lahti and the organizers of the Lahti 2017 Nordic World Championships together with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs invited the Helsinki diplomatic community to discover winter sports and enjoy the World Championships in Lahti on March 2nd 2017. 100 Helsinki based diplomats and their families had the opportunity to try skiing, ice curling, blanket volleyball on the snow, snow shoeing and sledging.
