Accreditation of media representatives for US and Russian Presidents' #HELSINKI2018 meeting

US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet in Helsinki on Monday 16 July 2018. The meeting will be hosted by President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö.

Accreditation is personal and not transferrable to anyone else in the same media organization. Late accreditation requests will not be accepted.

Media badges can be collected from Finlandia Hall, Mannerheimintie 13 E, door M4:

  • on Saturday 14 July at 11 AM – 5 PM
  • on Sunday 15 July at 9 AM – 8 PM
  • on Monday 16 July at 7 AM –10 AM

In order to avoid excess queues, please pick up your accreditation passes on Saturday or Sunday.

The media programme together with the schedules will be sent by email on Friday 13 July to all accredited media representatives, to the email address they have submitted on registering for accreditation.

Attendance at possible press conferences and photo opportunities will be strictly limited.  Media representatives working at the Media Centre will be provided image signal produced in cooperation between the Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).  The Department for Communications of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs will also produce photo material from the meeting for media representatives.

The Media Centre at Finlandia Hall will open at 9 AM on Sunday 15 July. It will close at 12 midnight on Monday 16 July.

At security checks, media representatives will be requested to present a photo ID and an accreditation badge.
