A hundred years of foreign policy – Foreign Ministry's public event in Kokkola

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs marks its centenary year by presenting its activities in events organised in different parts of Finland. On Thursday 19 April, a public event will be held in Kokkola City Library.

The topics of the event will be Nordic cooperation, security policy questions relating to Europe and Finland's neighbouring areas, and consular services provided by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Ambassador for 100-year-old Ministry for Foreign Affairs Petri Salo, Counsellor for Foreign Affairs Johan Schalin, Counsellor Tito Gronow, and First Secretary Pasi Kokkonen will be present and speak at the event.

The event in Kokkola City Library, Isokatu 3, will start at 16.30.

The representatives of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs will also visit the Kokkola Finnish upper secondary school and the Kokkola Swedish upper secondary school.
