Jari Sinkari: Finnish education is a central export product in Asia
"The northern lights and reindeer are export products that continue to sell Finland well. Next we should seize the business opportunities provided by Finland's name as a country with a high education," says Jari Sinkari, Finland's Ambassador to Indonesia, in the Foreign Ministry's podcast series 'Suomi mainittu'.
Sinkari tells that last year the Team Finland network provided advisory services to about 700 clients and made about 7,000 contacts across the world. "The sales products range from pet supplies to platforms used in the education sector. Currently, the most popular Finnish export products are the exotic Finnish winter and education," Sinkari says.
'Suomi mainittu!' is a podcast series, launched to mark the centenary of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. The series presents experts working in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and features their work through various themes. The podcasts are published once a month and they are also available on the SoundCloud platform and in iTunes.
