Europe Information at Helsinki Book Fair

The Helsinki Book Fair will be held at the Expo and Convention Centre, Messukeskus Helsinki, from 27 to 30 October. At stand 6k1, Europe Information of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs will offer information about topical EU questions and a selection of publications free of charge. Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto will visit the stand on Saturday 29 October. Visitors to the stand can take part in a quiz on Europe and win bookstore gift cards as prizes.

Europe Information’s stand 6k1 has books and other publications on EU that are free of charge. The latest publications include the recently updated Member States of the European Union bookmark and the book ‘Moninaisuudessaan yhtenäinen? Euroopan unionin suunta’ (United in diversity? Direction of the European Union), published in autumn 2021, discussing the future of the EU from different angles.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto will be interviewed at the Europe Information’s stand at around 18.30 on Saturday 29 October, focusing on topical EU questions and the changed security situation in Europe.

Visitors to the stand can do a short Europe quiz. Three bookstore gift cards of EUR 50 will be drawn among those who completed the quiz correctly and gave their contact details. The winners will be drawn on the week after the Book Fair.
