Call for Proposal for International Non-Governmental Organizations

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland (MFA) has opened a call for proposals for international non-governmental organisations (INGOs). The thematic focus areas of the Call are sexual and reproductive health and rights, tax justice and transparency as well as food security for children and youth. The application round will close on 30 November 2022.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs allocates development cooperation funds for use by INGOs. To be eligible for support, the organisations’ development cooperation activities must promote the attainment of Finland’s development policy priorities and the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The thematic focus areas of the Call are

  • promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights
  • promoting tax justice and transparency
  • food security for children and youth with a special focus on school meal.

Applications will be accepted until 30 November 2022. Applications together with their attachments should be received by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs no later than at 16.15 (Finnish time/EET) on Wednesday 30 November 2022. Applications that arrive after the due date and time will not be considered.
