NGOs, industry and commerce must also be brought into the discussions about Finland's foreign and security policy, said Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva at the Presidential Forum, a discussion on foreign and security policy on 8 May. The theme of the third Presidential Forum was Finland, Europe and the world - Finland's foreign policy challenges and opportunities. People from different parts of society - political decision-makers, civil servants, researchers, representatives of civil society and the media - participated in the forum.
