Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen to visit Germany

Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will visit Berlin on 24 September to discuss topical foreign policy questions.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen will speak at the launch of Norbert Röttgen's book on foreign and security policy. Röttgen has previously served as a long-term chair of the Bundestag Committee on Foreign Affairs. The event will also provide an opportunity to exchange views on foreign policy with a wider German audience.

“Germany is a key partner for Finland, and our countries maintain an excellent dialogue. We should leverage this connection more and strengthen it. Together with Germany, we can build a stronger European Union and a stronger NATO,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen.

Minister Valtonen will also meet the German media during her visit.
