The organisation of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is led by the Minister for Foreign Affairs who is in charge of the government department. The Ministry's highest civil servants are the Permanent State Secretary, who acts as the head of the Office of the Minister, and four Under-Secretaries of State.
Three of the members of the Government of Prime Minister Petteri Orpo are responsible for matters that fall under the administration of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

Instructions for visitors at Merikasarmi
Arrival
When you arrive in Merikasarmi, please make your way to the reception lobby for registration either in building G on Laivastokuja 3 G4 or in building F on Merikasarminkatu 5 F1. By showing your ID, you will be issued a visitor’s badge at the reception desk. The reception lobbies are open on weekdays from 7.45 to 16.45.
Parking
If you arrive by car, you can park your vehicle in parking area P1 on Laivastokuja 3. Make sure to collect a parking permit for your car for the day from the reception desk in building G.
Moving in Merikasarmi premises
Remember to wear the visitor’s badge in a visible place. When you need to go to the Conference Rooms on your own, follow the routes indicated on the map.
The shortest accessible way to Conference Centre A is through the A2 entrance if you are accompanied by your host.
